Berlin, 2015.

Writing changed me. I was always immersed in the magic of fiction & prose —how can someone do it? I wanted to do the same. To feel my soul change. To understand myself and life more deeply.

I started writing poetry, then I wrote and made films. When I was 17, I dreamt of winning the Nobel Prize (not sure why I had that dream or where it came from). For more than twelve years, I wanted to write a book. I didn’t. Maybe I wasn’t ready. Maybe I was scared. Then something happened:

In 2017, while studying in Germany, I wrote my first book, The 28 Mansions of the Moon, and I fell in love with the literary form—literally. The format changed me. In 2019, I wrote The Pigeon Whisperer, along with a collection of short novellas. Readers loved my books, and I loved writing them!

Since then, writing novels has been a ‘yes’ among so many ‘no’s.’ What started as an experiment turned out to be life-changing for me, and I hope I can write something that transforms you as well: to write something that makes you say: I feel I understand something in my life better, maybe I feel I understand love, life, or something a little bit better. If you read my books, I hope you think those journeys are worthwhile, that’s all I aspire to achieve.
